Squffle is an iOS music player that allows users to create smart playlists using music items from their Apple Music library.

Squffle caters to music enthusiasts with extensive music collections (e.g., Grateful Dead, Phish, Dead And Company) that feature track sequences meant to be experienced seamlessly without interruptions (e.g., China->Rider, Scarlet->Fire). Traditional digital mastering processes often introduce gaps between tracks, causing them to be treated as independent pieces by services like Apple Music. This can lead to shuffled playbacks disrupting the intended sequence of tracks. Squffle addresses this issue by preserving the original track sequences as intended by the artists.

For instance, if you wish to listen to a series of '77 Grateful Dead shows in a shuffled manner but want to maintain the integrity of sequences like China->Rider, Squffle ensures that these transitions remain intact.

Additionally, Squffle introduces a concept of grouping tracks, allowing users to define batches of tracks into customized collections (such as an album or an artist). These Groups function similarly to track sequences in Squffle's playback, ensuring they are always played together in shuffle mode.

For example, if you would like to include several of your favorite albums in a playlist but always prefer that Sgt. Pepper plays in its entirety according to the original track order, you can create a group for Sgt. Pepper within your playlist.
